Out-of-Hours and Emergency Callouts
Drain Doctor provides a genuine 7 days, 24x7 service. We staff and manage our team to ensure we provide a high level of service, both within our standard working hours (Mon - Fri, 6.30am - 5.00pm), and for callouts outside of these. We also offer a 60 min Emergency Response service.
Our Out-of-Hours Service
After normal trading hours our phones are automatically switched over to an answering service, where your call is handled by a NZ based answer service, and you talk to a genuine service person. Following your initial call, our service person forwards notification to our on-call technicians and also notifies our main office. We will then directly contact you to arrange a time to undertake your job.
Although we attend to a lot of calls after dark it is preferable to delay this until it is daylight, as the job is usually done more effectively and is safer for our work crew. In general, for most households, water consumption over the night time period is usually quite minimal, therefore waiting till the morning usually incurs minimal further damage from leakage.
Please note, for our Out-of-Hours service there is an additional charge. We can advise you of this charge at the time of the callout.
Our 60 min Emergency Response Service
We offer a 60 min Emergency Response service only in real emergency situations. With such callouts, we generally need to move one of our existing working crews from their current job to attend to the emergency. For this level of service and support there is an additional charge. We can advise you of this charge at the time of the emergency callout.
